Dr. Deal Named Physician of the Quarter at Central Mississippi Medical Center
Jo Perkins Deal, MD, medical director and hospital epidemiologist at Central Mississippi Medical Center, received the hospital's Physician of the Quarter award for the third quarter. The award was established by the Physician Relations Committee at CMMC to recognize the outstanding performance of physicians who contribute to the care and well being of CMMC's patients. The criteria for the award are based on dedication, compassion, professional competence, attitude and ability to work well with staff members at CMMC.
Dr. Deal received her doctor of medicine degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, MS.
